Title: VB.NET Developer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30334
Duration: 2 – 3 years

Job Description:
· A significant portion of the database scripting is in the client application and has to be adjusted to the new syntax. Must be able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems.
Required Technical skills
· Experience with VB.NET windows client development is preferred
· Create object oriented code (VB.NET (Framework) required or C# code is a plus), according to the requests.
· MS SQL 2012+ experience (stored procedures, table management, TSQL, etc) is preferred.
· Understand how the database modeling techniques relate to each other.
· Experience in implementing applications using relational databases.
· Knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET is preferred.
· Ability to develop or modify moderately complex software in a Microsoft Windows environment is required.
· Passion for clean, readable code.
· Knowledge of PL/SQL Oracle is a plus.
· Knowledge of Crystal Reports is a plus.
Professional Skills:
· Develop and maintain the old and the new VB.NET environments.
· Technically and methodically approach the problem for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
· Create a detailed design specific for the application components according to the requirements.
· Must have good analytical skills.
· Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
· Detail oriented and an organized person.
· Writing documentation with functional and technical content.
· Following and adding to the programming standards.
· Working close with the business clients in order to understand their needs.
· Knowledge of the environmental regulatory industry is a plus.
