On this page ... http://chronicle.software/products/chronicle-queue/it mentions that

Chronicle Queue is ideal for distributed architectures especially when you wish to spread the processing over more than one machine and achieve a High level of Availability (HA).

The image seems to suggest that the response out is only after the message has been replicated (but I suspect that this isn't the case.)

Is it possible with Chronicle Queue to get pull the plug, no message loss HA?

Hello Dakotah,

Yes. In this model, the message is only sent externally after replication because it doesn't have a message to send until it has been replicated.

More recently we support a model of detecting when a message has been acknowledged as replicated. This follows a more traditional design.

Regards, Peter.

Thanks Peter for clarifying that!

Is there a white paper or a GitHub example that demonstrates how to code up these models?

We are moving to Chronicle Queue v4, and replication is an enterprise feature in Chronicle-Queue-Enterprise. Would you be interested in evaluating it?

Are you free in the next couple days for a call to discuss your requirements?

Regards, Peter.

Yes ... would love to.

What is the best way to set up a call?
