Hi,
This is very basic,  I apologize.
I've download jasmine-standalone-2.0.0.zip from dist directory, and every time I  try to unzip it I get errors that the archive is invalid. I have tried it on both  Xubuntu and Win7. I  tried command line, 7-zip, etc. It's a different error depending on what I use to unzip it.
Thank you!

I've just got same problem. It is strange because a week ago I successfully installed it on another computer.

How are you downloading? Some folks have been getting the wrong URL from GitHub and thus get a bad file.

Do you have another link?

This is an issue with GitHub, not Jasmine.

Either download from the releases page: https://github.com/pivotal/jasmine/releases

Or, use the "raw" links that GitHub provides to get the ZIP from the repo web page.

Hi,

You can do like what DWF suggested.

Alternatively...wait, let's first understand why the zip things fails. Github disabled downloading zip files in its server for some security reasons. This is why your downloading of the zip file fails. Try checking the size of the zip file that you tried to download ;)

Now what is the solution? Feel free to checkout the entire jasminejs project in your local disk. And then go to the directory where the zip files are located and copy-paste. At least that is what I did.

Happy coding!
Karthik
