Hello Fellow Rubyist,
I suppose good to start this list is by introducing ourselfs among-each other. lets me start.

Short Intro:
I am Gaurish Sharma, currently doing my MCA & also doing some free-lancing(http://www.tricklingideas.com/).

Ruby/Rails Experience:
I started ruby only this year at RubyConfIndia - Pune[1] & instantly fell in love with language & entire ecosystem. from there, I have teaching myself ruby & rails. so far I have few silly contributions to rails[2] & other gems[3 ] but I am still a newbie because there is plenty of stuff that I don't know. so I plan to learn that & have fun doing it :D

Place: Jaipur(I live here), so I would be able to attend most of the meetings.

Hi!

I'm Aditya Sanghi. I'm running Rising Sun Tech here in Jaipur since late 2007. We're a dedicated Rails shop and have made a number of web app products using RubyOnRails like Salaree.com and Risemoney.com

I'm also a co-founder of Cupertino based startup called Punchh. 

I've been programming in a number of different programming languages since early 90s and have worked on a number of large systems in number of countries and enjoy solving problems just as much as I did when I first began.

I've been a contributor to a number of ruby projects including rails and a large number of popular gems. I contribute on StackOverflow when I can and actively train freshers on ruby and web app development.

I'll be happy to assist the local user group in every possible way and further the adoption of Ruby/Rails.

Thanks for taking the lead in starting the group Gaurish.

Hello Rubyist,

I am a Ruby enthusiast, working on Ruby on almost 4 year. I am currently working in Mckinsey and Company on Ruby on Rails. I am the author of the book, Rhomobile Beginner's Guide. And currently working on my second book on RubyMotion. I have also taken up technical sessions on Rhodes/Ruby/Rails framework for companies and at ruby meetups and was the speaker at RubyConfIndia2012. 

I am currently work from Gurgaon and sometime from Jaipur. So if anyone want to catchup for a coffee or meetup in Jaipur or Gurgaon, let me know.

Hi,

I am Akash Khandelwal. I started learning Ruby/Rails in August 2012. Before that I used to code in Java. Getting introduced to Ruby from Java was overwhelming due to the ease of writing it and number of ways of doing same thing. I followed various tutorials in my learning process. Apart from that, I got in touch with experienced Ruby on Rails developers and learned from community people also.

In February 2013, I shifted to Pune to work with an startup which is aimed at building intelligent software for behavioral software to help recruiters minimize the attrition rate of employees. I got a chance to attend RubyConf India 2013. And it was the most learning experience of my life so far. Came to know about many new frameworks on Ruby and other technologies around it. It made me feel that I am still a newbie in Ruby. And now I am motivated to learn and explore more and more technologies.

It is good to see people working on Ruby on Rails in Jaipur while the city is bloating with PHP and Java developers. Pinkcity is growing like crazy and there is lot of scope in various fields where we can take things on to web.

So, stay active, teach and learn as much as possible.

I'm Sakshi Jain from Ajmer. I am a student at Govt. Women Engineering College, Ajmer pursuing B.Tech in CS(Final year).

Me and Pallavi Shastry from Banglore, have been selected for Rails Girls Summer of Code. 

We will be working on Rails App Generator https://github.com/railsappgenerator/railsgirls-app-generator and Diaspora* from July to September.

As I am just a beginner at Rails, I would be highly obliged, if somebody from Jaipur can help me build my concepts at Rails strong.
