Skystar 2 e mb con chipset nforce

Dispongo dal 2001 di una scheda netsystem skystar 2 pci che utilizzavo sul mio pc per vedere la tv satellitare.
Un paio di anni fa ho rinnovato il mio pc e ho sostituito cpu motherboard e ram.
Ho acquistato una scheda gigabyte basata sul chipset nforce 430.
Dopo avere montato la scheda sat sulla mb ho installato i driver e fin qui nessun problema, ma non appena ho cercato di sintonizzare il segnale del satellite, il pc ha smesso di funzionare senza accendersi più.
Sono riuscito a farmi sostituire in garanzia la scheda madre, risultata danneggiata, con una asrock alivenf5-esatta2+, basata questa volta sul chipset nforce 520 e il mio fornitore mi ha detto che se dovesse nuovamente danneggiarsi la mb sarà solo colpa mia!
Ho chiesto alla asrock se potevo installare la vostra scheda skystar 2 ma questi mi hanno invitato a chiederlo al mio fornitore...
Così, senza perdermi d'animo, ho contattato sia l'assistenza tecnica della netsystem, distributore italiano della scheda skystar 2, sia quella della technotrend, azienda produttrice. Cito testualmente di seguito le due risposte.
 
Prima la netsystem :
 
"Non esistono problemi di incompatibilità di nostra conoscenza. In ogni caso il produttore della scheda satellitare è la Technisat e non Netsystem.

Riuscite almeno voi a dirmi cortesemente se posso montare questa scheda sul mio pc o se è meglio evitare per non rischiare di danneggiare nuovamente la mb?
Quali driver mi consigliate di usare eventualmente?
Il mac address della mia scheda netsystem e' 00D0D705508F , il mio SO è Windows Professional sp2 ed il mio Username indicato in  fase di registrazione (19/10/2001) è Legby .

Is the skystar 2 pci sat card compatible with nforce 520 chipset based motherboards?

I installed my pci card on my new mb gigabyte based on nforce 430 chipset and damaged irrepairably my mb!

Now I want to try it on asrock alivenf5-esata2+ mb based on nforce 520 chipset but I'm not sure if I can install it safely...

Could you please help me with your support?

Mac address pci card is 00D0D705508F and I bought it in september of 2001 (serial number 037592).

the nForce chipset (since version 4) seems to have incompatibility
problems
with most DVB PCI cards which will damage your hardware. Please do not
install
your SkyStar on this Asrock motherboard!!!
Using a SkyStar USB or changing the motherboard to one with another
chipset would
be the best solution if you want to watch DVB-S TV on your PC.

Decisi alla fine per non correre altri rischi di utilizzare la scheda skystar 2 su di un altro pc con il chipset via (una vecchia asus socket a).

Ora io vorrei acquistare una nuova scheda madre basata sul chipset nforce 6 ma vorrei anche montare la mia scheda skystar 2.

Come faccio ad essere sicuro di non bruciare nuovamente la mb?

A proposito, dimenticavo che sulla mb con chipset nforce 4 avevo anche installato una scheda dvb-t pci della asus che comunque non mi ha mai dato problemi...

ho una skystar 2 su una asrock k10n78 hsli e non ho alcun problema
