New York Academy of Medicine Library Launches Online Exhibit

The Academy Library has a new online exhibit website (http://digitalcollections.nyam.org/digital ). It was built using an Islandora multi-site.

Hi Robin,

Very nice. I like the "Explore" blocks, and it's strangely refreshing to explore an Islandora site that doesn't provide searching.

Thanks! Nice suggestion. We’ve hyperlinked the content on the illustrations pages but providing links within the essay would get users to the illustrations content immediately from the first essay as they read through the content.

Hi Robin,

The multisite looks great, definitely like the exhibit style presentation too. Have you thought of putting in hyperlinks to connect the info written my Dr. McCall to the illustrations described? It might make it easier for the user to get to the specific illustrations right away
