PECL HTTP V2 & Islandora Vagrant

Greetings all, 

            Has anyone had any luck getting pecl_http v2 installed on the Islandora Vagrant instance? Gone through steps here http://php.net/manual/en/http.install.php & http://pecl.php.net/package/pecl_http. Keeps saying that it is missing. 

Any ideas?
