Thank you to everyone who submitted a pre-conference proposal to code4lib 2017. In total, we’ve received 37 proposals this year (!), but due to limited space we won’t be able to offer all of them.

That means it’s time to vote for your favourite pre-conference sessions. Voting will remain open from now until November 22nd, 5 PM Pacific Time / 8 PM Eastern Time.

Please take a look at the proposals and their descriptions at http://2017.code4lib.org/workshops/proposed-workshops.html, then to vote visit http://bit.ly/c4l17preconfvote to choose your top 3 sessions that you’d be most interested in attending.

The results from the vote will help us to allocate the limited space, and will help us put each accepted session in the best room available. The leaders of accepted proposals will hear from us by November 23rd.

Thank you in advance for your participation,

Code4Lib 2017 Pre-conference Committee

Giving this post a bump - we would love to have an Islandora workshop at Code4Lib 2017. I put together a joint proposal with folks from Caltech, WRLC, and Calpoly to present
"Islandora in the Wild: Training and Resources from Pilot and Production Repository Projects." If you plan on attending Code4Lib and would like to attend, please vote for the session here: http://bit.ly/c4l17preconfvote.
