Solution Pack for source code

Hi folks,

Is there a solution pack that would let us store and display source code or text files? Failing that, is there a solution pack that would allow for generic files and provide a download button but no display?

We have some theses that have supplemental material and we would like to be able to make them compound objects with the PDF and source code, data sets, etc.

https://github.com/Islandora-Labs/islandora_binary_object could possibly work if you stored the source as a zip or tarball.  One fedora resource per file in a large source tree would get pretty excessive.
