• Descriptive Working Group meeting next week, likely for the last time; Note - MODS and RDF subgroup of Descriptive Working Group will continue meeting
• Participation requested: MODS and RDF Subgroup looking for input on how holding institution and shelving location should be mapped from MODS to RDF: https://goo.gl/forms/KGymGD9dGURueF4o2
• Applied Linked Data Working Group met with DPLA re: harvesting options and using ResourceSync
• Info requested: URI Management Working Group reviewing functional requirements example from rightsstatement.org’s RFP; interested in gathering other examples if available
• Request from Avalon dev team re: mapping XML data streams (including MODS) to EBUCore for Fedora3 to Fedora4 migration; HMIG reviewing mapping Avalon descriptive metadata to EBUCore vs MODS/RDF Subgroup’s mappings
