Neurophysiological Assessment of Cognitive Trainings in Aircraft Pilots and Stroke Patients
The Human Factors and Neuroergonomics team at ISAE-SUPAERO offers a postdoctoral position in Neuroergonomics. The postdoctoral researcher's project will aim to study the modulation of aircraft pilots and brain-injured patients' mental flexibility.
Project background:
The goal of the present project is to develop a new training program and to assess its impact on pilots' mental flexibility in emergency management on the one hand and in brain injured patients rehabilitation on the other hand. The postdoctoral researcher will work with a young and dynamic research team that includes scientists in Neuroscience and Neuroergonomics. He or she will help developing tools for brain signal connectivity analyses, acquire and analyze EEG signals and have great opportunities for scientific publications.
Requirements:
- European or Switzerland citizen (possibility for USA citizen)
- PhD in computational sciences, mathematics / related to signal processing field.
- Skills in programming (Python, Matlab).
Any experience in one or more of the following fields may be a valuable asset:
- Functional or effective connectivity analyzes (i. e. graph theory, wavelet coherence, etc.)
- Human factors / cognitive training
Start and duration:
The
position starts in January/February,
2018, for a duration of 2 years with possible extension
in the
Neuroergonomics team of ISAE-SUPAERO, Toulouse, France
