Hi, I managed to run helloioio before on IOIO-OTG. I could control the yellow led via both PC and Android device. After that, I tried using XBee and couldn't make it work. Now, however, I can't run helloioio app on Android phone, but I can control the yellow via PC. What do you think is causing this problem? My Android Device: Samsung Galaxy S3 Thanks.

First I would check that the IOIO is not damaged in any way. The easiest way is to verify that when the IOIO is connected to the Android the power LED on the IOIO is on and the Android indicates charging.
If that's all good, I would use the precompiled HelloIOIO.app. Make sure it matches the firmware version you're running. If you don't know which firmware version you have, use ioiodude versions.
Also, I would try to either enable or disable USB debugging on the phone. Newer versions of Android need to have this at "off".

IOIO power led is on and it charges when I connect it to the phone. USB debugging mode is off as you said. Yet more, when I connect IOIO to my Android phone without having the debugging mode on, it asks if it should run the helloioio app as default. No problem until there. But the yellow led doesn't turn on. I've already checked everything you mentioned. But I couldn't run IOIO-Dude which my friend asked you about it before:

I did what you suggested, but got the same results. In addition, I ran it before. If it was about the firmware, it wouldn't have ran before. All this happened after I connected XBee as shown in this link:

What do you get in logcat after a failed attempt to run the app?

Android 4.3 should only work in AOA mode (i.e. when USB debugging turned off).
