Unable to update firmware.

Howdy,  

New to this forum and my last posting never showed up.  Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong.  Trying to update an IOIO OTG to latest firmware.  I using a Windows 10 machine. 

I am able to see the IOIO board and when I enter the folliwing into a CMD:

ioiodude --port=COM3 Versions - I do get:

IOIO Bootloader detected. (so I know my jumper is working). 

However when I enter

ioiodude -- port=3 --reset write App-IOIO0506.ioio.app 

the cmd window simply hangs up and I have to reset.  

Any idea what i'm doing wrong here?
