Hello 2all,

I setup a new cache- server (2013.1.0.434.0) on a win webserver 2008 SP 2, 64k. Everything works fine, except the connection by studio. Management- Portal by browser works fine. I have the same setup on an other machine, with no problems at all.

The error i get:

Access denied.
Unable to log on server ENSEMBLE, namespace DOCBOOK
[Cache ODBC][State : S1000][Native Code 417]
[c:\Program Files\Iintersystems\cache\cstudio.exe]
Access Denied

anyone an idea?

Thx
Michael

SOLVED, found the difference to the proper working server:

%Service_Bindings was not running. Now it works!

Thx anyway

I don't know the exact details of your platform but... If your Studio
and Cache are the same version number (coming from the same
distribution 2013.x), and you have recompiled everything in the
namespace (assuming old classes, routines, etc) then it should work.
If not should check with InterSystems support. 2013 Cache is a
release candidate with possible bugs, correct?

Also, have you applied a Cache license yet? You may run into some
problems with the free Cache depending on what you start up.
