please respond -- seeking reviewers for Kairos special issue

Dear Colleagues,

As you know, John Logie, TyAnna Herrington, and I are co-editing a special issue of Kairos on ownership, authorship, and copyright.  We had a good response to the call for proposals, and we're expecting the initial versions of the webtexts (multimedia articles) to be submitted in the next few days. There will be a wide range of topics: student authorship, plagiarism, memes, comics, videogame modding, collaboration, educational technologies, overviews, etc. 

I'm writing to ask for volunteers from the IP Caucus to review these webtexts, starting after the C's conference. I do have a pool of readers who are not IP specialists to represent non-specialist perspectives. But your expertise would be very welcome and important to the success of the issue.

If you would be willing to be a reviewer, please email me at klun...@writing.ucsb.edu 

{One note for folks who routinely review for Kairos -- this would be an above-and-beyond reviewing assignment. i.e., it would be in addition to any reviews requested by the Kairos team.}

Karen, I just turned in a review for Kairos a few days ago. And I have a book to review over the next 3 weeks. I'm not sure I'll be able to pick something up in this time frame. I'll have to let you know.
