Basically it's like this:
Half Life 2 runs at 30-50 FPS in Single Player. IT ALWAYS HAS without a mod. Problem is, it crashes at every auto save point. This seems to be a known issue with the GMA 950. Has that nice yellow box near it or use to anyway. Doing same on modded drivers. Not sure if this is a ram issue or not. I got 1GB and I notice i only got 200MB free when game open.
Second, counter strike source runs at 8-10 FPS. I cant figure out how to run counter strike source via 3d analyzer since the only exe is hl2 and that opens up Half life 2 through steam. However, if 3d analyzer is any indication, my frames on Half Life 2 drop from 30-50 in Single Player mode to 10. Strange. Still, I have no idea what to do to open counter striek source in 3d analyzer since steam control all programs.
What I have tried:
Removing old drivers and using modded
Running 3d Analyzer with no luck.
Stuck and not sure what else to do but maybe wait for my 4GB of ram to show up monday and hope like hell it sorts out the issue without going through this. However, I highly doubt the ram is going to give the GMA (128MB Integrated) any real performance boost.

i changed the driver id愀 so you install the mobile 4 series driver and
not the 965G driver, and i add an installer a changed the name of our
GPU so if you install this driver you will see in your device manager:

cracks, because if you don´t buy these games with steam you have to
close steam before playing,
to play css you have to make a shortcut and then add behind hl2.exe -
game cstrike and than it starts directly with css, but do u use xp or
vista, because source game run much better with vista...if you install
the modded driver you should be able to play all these games without
3dA, and high FPS...

A) I bought these games. They are Legal Copies. No Cracks
B) My Pc = Toshiba S4074
1.6 Ghz Duo Core T2050
1GB of DDR 2 2 x 512 (Though ordered 2 x 2GB should arrive soon)

I tried the intel 9xxx 1.4 Final Driver. Maybe this is my problem? Maybe it is not useful on the Toshiba s4074 since I have an Intel GMA 950???
What is the link to the driver you wish me to try? I see what you were showing on image shack but I saw no link for the driver you spoke about.

you took the right driver because you have XP, but as i say source
games don´t run very well on xp they run better on vista or windows 7
once again...
-make a shorcut of hl2
-then go to the properties of this shortcut and add to the line were
hl2 is -game cstrike
-i must look like this "C:\......\...\..\hl2.exe" -game cstrike

I run XP. I tried the intel 9xx 1.4 Final and had no luck. Worse yet,
if I run 3d analyzer it DECREASES my frame rate.
Ver. 6.14.10.5016 (aka v1.4final)(added OpenGL Support)

Hey I know you from youtube. I have 1.8ghz duo core 533 mhz and 1gb
ram and i run css at average 35fps. If you download casey's config
(look on google) it should boost ur fps alot. r_3dskybox 0 command
works best. btw 4 gb of ram won't help because ur system is 32bit
vista so it only uses 2gb. Ur wasting ur money. an extra 1gb doesn't
help much apart from give you room for multiple programs at once.

wat error is it giving ... if it says operating system not supported
then right click the .exe file of ur setup and click the compatibiltiy
tab and select windows vista and press apply .. this will install the
drivers...

hey u using 32 bit version or 64 bit version.... v1.2 is only for 32
bit OS ... so make sure that ur OS is 32 bit before installing

well try the v1.5 uploaded by me in the files section ...it is same as
that of v1.2 ..its only 5.4 MB and let me know if it works ...

was not having xp i was not able to test v1.5 ...so i recommend v1.2
for xp ... if u r having windows 7 then try v1545 ... i am using it
and it works really good ... weird thing is that the driver v1545
which i modded does not work on vista but it works on windows 7 ...

ciao, I have installed "Windows 7 Professional 64bit" on an Amilo
PI2512, but now with original and alpha 2 drivers with "Urban Terror"
game (Quake Arena 3 mod, in OpenGL) I have only a grey screen (both in
full screen and windows mode). I can hear music in background but no
display. In offcial "Urban Terror" forum with ati and nvidia driver
with 64bit microsoft os, people say to set "Black Buffer Flipping
Mode" to "Block Transfer" via RivaTuner, but how with 3100? thank you
and sorry for my poor english.

Each system is a different case. Try V1.1 for 64-bit, and if that
doesn't perform as expected, try alpha 1. Drivers are meant to be
installed without previous drivers installed. That's the cleanest way
to install drivers, without issues or lack of performance due to
remains from previous drivers.

manager. Tested alpha and 1.1. Looks like alpha is better.

The driver named V1.2 is a new driver for 945 chipsets currently in
development, and while there are already download links, do take in
account that it's still a beta product and some issues might occur.
For the best performance/stability ratio, it is advised for users to
install V1.1E or Alpha 1. In the event V1.1E doesn't perform as
expected, and the user has a x64 system, then either Alpha 1 or V1.1
both have x64 versions.
