Seen this herb enroute Dhel Pass (altitude approx: 3700M) at GHNP.

Must be in rock crevices. It prefers this habitat.

Yes it is P. eriocarpa. Beautiful autumn colours in leaves.

I am in agreement with Dr Rawat that this is Potentilla eriocarpa, so cannot understand how the Potentilla from Spiti was so

mistakenly named as this species.
