Desmodium heterocarpon is a much larger shrub with leaflets longer than 3 cm and flowers in a terminal or axillary up to 7 cm long raceme.

This one was a much smaller plant, leaflets barely 1 cm or less long and flowers in few-flowered raceme. --

It is Desmodium triflorum not Indigofera prostrata. I.prostrata is like this.
