This Magnolia tree greeted visitors at the Rhine Falls near Zurich.

Requested to please provide ID.

Magnolia x soulangeana – there are many very beautiful cultivars of this tree.

There are numerous hybrid Magnolia spp. in the UK.

Sorry I can't help with the exact species.
