Dear Sir/Madam/Friend,

I am very happy to inform you that I and my beloved student and also best friend Dr. K.V.Sathish (NRSA, ISRO, HYD) discovered a new plant species from the Araku Valley forests of the Visakhapatnam in the Eastern Ghats and we named the plant as Emilia reddyi Satish at Prakasarao in an honor to scientist Dr. C. Sudhakar Reddy, National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO, Hyderabad and enlisted in the critically endangered category of the IUCN. It has been published in the latest issue of Journal of Asia-Pacific Biodiversity
