Dear Friends,

Tree for Id pl.-This is a mangrove.We were told that these peculiar arrow-like pods after maturation fall vertically in the mud so that they germinates fast.
Location - Sundarban,West Bengal

Date - Nov. 2017

Rhizophora mucronta ..

it is showing vivipary, fruit germinated in seed
