Glochidion heyneanum (Wight & Arn.) Wight
syn: G. velutinum Wight

A shrub or tree with tomentose branches and undersurface of leaves; leaves on 3-4 mm long petiole;  Flowers in axillary clusters; male flowers with 2-6 mm long pedicel, 6 sepals in two whorls, pubescent; 3 connate stamens; female flower on 1 mm long pedicel; style column shorter than ovary; capsules depressed globose, 4-7-locular.

Whether the leaves vere tomentose particularly on the undersurface.  If so, then it is an excellent shot.

Respected members,

This is not Glochidion heyneanum.
It is Mallotus philippinensis ,as fruits are trilobate covered with removable reddish powder unlike G.heyneanum where seeds have shiny red colour and have 8- 14 lobes, leaves are also different from Glochidion heyneanum in newly appearing leaves we can see light pink colour shade which occurs in Mallotus philippinensis.
