Dear Mr Tiwari
with all due respect to Mr Gurcharan Singh's view, the leaves of
bakain trees are white not because of the fact that they are will fall
off soon but this is due to some (which is at present unknown to me
at least) nutritional deficiency in the soil this is happening all
over the punjab state and you can check it any time the leaves wont
fall soon. yeah due to this deficiency they may get senile before
their natural senescence cycle but its not the other way around for
sure.
this can be observed from the fact that if you look at these leaves
very carefully they are the leaves which are not old but rather
majority of them might be young leaves. they develop with their
natural non green colour but fail to develop normal chlorophyll
contents as they move towards maturation.
