Habit:Herb

 

Habitat:Evergreen forest among bomboo growth.

 

Sighting:Kadmane,Sakaleshpur,Karnataka,about 1100 msl

Appears closer to the images at Lamprachaenium microcephalum Benth.

For me  the iD is correct i.e.Acilepis ornata.   Please check this website

You are correct Garg ji, if the leaves are scabrous(rough hairs) above, it is V. divergens, otherwise it is Vernonia daalzelliana(= Acilepis ornata (Talbot) H.Rob. & Skvarla.)
