Kindly examine and identify this plant..

 

Habit:Herb

 

Habitat:Wild,on wet moss-clad rocks amidst grass in montane forest

 

Sighting:Mullaianagiri,Chikmagalur,Karnataka about 1700 msl

 

Date:15-09-2015 and 09-10-2016

The images show some characteristic features of Rubiaceae including the bifid stigma and persistent calyx in fruit. I remember Gurcharan sir posting a similar plant 2 years back from the same area, around the same time. A late blooming herb towards the end of monsoon in the grasslands.

Swertia would have nectaries/glands present at the base of the inner face of petals which are clearly lacking here.
