Pyrrosia flocculosa/ABMAR06

I found this growing on a Grey Oak. It's amazing how much I miss every day. This must have been growing for a while and the tree is right on my everyday walk. I suspect I take in very little that is new. Hopefully I will be more attentive and less crude with time...

This epiphyte is soft to touch. The simple pinna (without stalk) of my sample is about 22 cm and the stipe 14 cm. The margins are wavy as visible in the pictures. It's hairy on both sides and the spores are covered by a web of white intermeshing hair.

Pyrrosia flocullosa –Please confirm.

What a fantastic set of photos Ashwini ji! I have been looking for the ID of this fern too , grows on the trunk and branches of most trees here in FRI ..Thank you.
