This hairy shrub is growing near my home. I remember having difficulty last year in separating Cynoglossum species which are well-represented here. Is this a Cynoglossum species or a Hackelia sp. (how do we tell the difference)? Could we have an ID with these pictures without nutlets? Please advise.

Seems to be Cynoglossum laceolatum.

Excellent details and beautiful clicks, Ashwini Ji

Flowers white with blue centre (C.lanceolatum and C. zeylanicum).
Your photographs are showing leaves with bulbous-based hairs. Flower
corolla-scales patent (spread out widely) and suborbicular (Sub-flat
with almost circular outline).

So, it is Cynoglossum lanceolatum
This key is from "FLORA OF CHAMBA" by Singh and Sharma

Thank you Anil ji for your detailed reply. I suspect my other post with smaller white flowers to be the C. lanceolatum also. Please advise.
