A reply from Sh. Chris Chadwell:
"There is also a Primula photographed in Ladakh at Chang La, which I cannot locate the link to at present. This is part of the PRIMULA MACROPHYLLA complex which has puzzled botanists for more than a century.  Professor Arve Elvebakk, University of Tromso, Norway has been studying the complex for some time and has separated a distinct pink-flowered taxon found in Ladakh, especially at high altitude, which he has named as Primula meeboldii but has not formally published yet. "

This could be Primula rosea.
I have seen it at Rohtang.
