Lamiaceae herb in Nilgiris for ID :: MK008 SEP2016

Dear all,

Please help me to identify this Labiate herb commonly found in the dry scrub forest floor in Nilgiris.

Leaf: up to 6 cm long

Location: Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, TN
Habitat: open scrubland
Alt.: 800 m asl

Looks like a  Salvia species.

Also check it for Orthosiphon, may be O. thymiflorus?

I agree with Lalithamba ji. It is Orthosiphon rubicundus (D.Don) Benth. as per images herein.
