Dear all
Attaching the images of Andrographis ovata endemic to Eastern Ghats.
Plant name: Andrographis ovata (T.Anderson ex Bedd.) Benth. & Hook.f., Gen. Pl. 2: 1100. 1876.
Family: Acanthaceae
Description: 
Erect herbs, 0.5-1 m tall. Stem 4-angled, pubescent. Leaves opposite; lamina subsessile, ovate 2.5-7 × 2-4 cm, pubescent, base decurrent, apex acute, margin entire. Flowers monosymmetric, pink, 1 cm across, in terminal lax panicles upto 20 cm long. Calyx deeply 5-lobed; lobes narrow, glabrous. Corolla bilipped; upper lip 2 lobed, lower 3 lobed; pink with purple blotches.  Stamens 2, filaments and anthers glabrous; anthers pink, elliptic. Carpels 2, syncarpous, superior; style as long as staminal filaments, glabrous, stigma spatulate.  Capsule 1.5-2 cm, ribbed, glandular hairy.
Habitat & location: Rare. Endemic to Peninsular India.
