Names of Plants in India :: Konkani (Goa) name for Olea dioica

Dear friends,

The name peddhaliki mentioned in Flora of Goa and Shodhganga article is not to be found elsewhere on internet; hope someone helps provide the valid name in Devanagari / Kannada script.

Thanks Garg ji for resurfacing this query.
I strongly feel this name not to belong to Konkani (well, one of its dialects is my mother tongue) ... it sounds vague to fit in Konkani language, unless someone confidently affirms it to be used in Goa and vicinity. It sounds much like Telugu, and could be an inadvertent case of copy-paste compilation.

Some earlier relevant feedback:

I strongly feel this name not to belong to Konkani (well, one of its dialects is my mother tongue) ... it sounds vague to fit in Konkani language, unless someone confidently affirms it to be used in Goa and vicinity.
