Export to interactive PDF crashes every time with the "Indesign CS6 has stopped working" message

When I export to interactive PDF from any document, even one with a one-word text frame, I get the "InDesign CS6 has stopped working" message. All of the documents that fail on my primary system (Win 8.1, ID 6, Version 8.0.2) work on my backup (win 7, ID 6) system.I was able to export successfully the last time I tried this, probably two months ago. I've trashed preferences but it still fails. What else should I be considering as the source of the problem?

I'm also experience this problem with InDesign CS6. Regular PDF's work just find but Interactive PDF's crash InDesign. The program itself appears to successfully create the PDF but right after it crashes InDesign (when it would typically open the PDF). Did you ever get it sorted out?
