Hi,

tested on v512 final on beta server:
  1. email activation mode enabled
  2. create a new account
  3. clic on link received by email to activate your account
  4. you're apparently logged into inportal
  5. clic on Directory menu and then on "Suggest link" > No permission
  6. logout and login again
  7. now you can suggest a new link, as permitted by default setup

I had the same problem on one of my website, I bet the bug comes from auto login feature .

It concerns us, but I'm really out of office this week so I'm not able to look into this more closely.

I've tested on 5.1.2 final and user isn't logged-in at all after clicking on a link in activation email (which leads to "activate_confirm" template in "advanced" theme).

Even if you are logged-in, then it maybe user will get Guest user group instead of a user group, he registered to.

What about debug mode? Does something change, when you enable/disable debug more (got better/worse)?

thanks to care about this.

I'm testing it on beta server to avoid any question like "have you tested on a clean install", but I can also perform it on my own copy for debug results.

You can test on a local copy too. Since in your local copy you have 5.1.0 or 5.1.1 version, then if it works there and don't work in 5.1.2 then it will be easier to find, what has broken it.

I've found the bug in an online 510, then it exists from 510 at least.

Done.

Actually there was also other problem with auto-login, when agents were not executed from cron, but directly on site, then no auto-login stuff worked at all.
