Hello,

I'm trying to use IGV in a remote MacOS computer connected by ssh with X11 forwarding allowed. Nevertheless, IGV throws a java.awt.HeadlessException and does not open the window in the computer where I'm working. I could open IGV with the shell script if I open the remote desktop and work there, but I want to use the X11 because the shared desktop does not work well. Here its the error obtained:

Could you try running "xclock"?

Thanks for your answer Jim Robinson.

xclock and xeyes work fine...So the problem is not the XQuartz...

Then I don't know, but I am guessing you are missing some libraries required by Java.
