GThread-ERROR **

I downloaded IGV 2.3.60 and get this error when trying to run it.  How do I correct this?

Hi,

This error is occurring in the Java JVM,  not igv itself.  I did a little googling and it seems this error is related to the GTK libraries on some linux distributions.   What version of Linux are you running?

If you google for this error

  GThread-ERROR **: GThread system may only be initialized once 

you will find it seems common with some RHEL releases.  Updating gtk libraries might resolve this.   Sorry I can't help further,  I am not a linux expert.
