Country flags: getting complex multi-color icons to work

Hi Keamoon and all, 

I want to share an issue with a country-flag iconset. We did prepare those icons in illustrator using masks to limit all 64 flags to the same circular shape.

Unfortunately the mask is ignored by icomoon.

SVG samples attached - the UK sample has been exported from Sketch.

Any help appreciated. I’d like to keep the masking due to possible changes from circular to square shape of flags.

Hi,

Implementing and supporting masks would be complicated and it would a lot of time too. And this is the first time anyone using IcoMoon is asking for it. We might implement it in future, but it won't be anytime soon.

So we will have a bit work to manually create clipping paths and combined paths for each color.
