Hi,

I've used the materaial-design-icons package from npm before and the way it works is that you add the class material-icons to an element and add the icon you want to use between the start and end tag like: home. However I don't want to download all of the icons so I would like to go from using the materaial-design-icons package and just create a smaller icon font with only the icons I want. When just using icomoon, selecting the icons I want and hit download font, the way it works is I add icon-
as the class which means I need to change it everywhere it's used. Is it possible to make the font created by icomoon work the same as with the materaial-design-icons package?

If I understand it correctly they way it works by default with icomoon is better because you get a fallback if the font doesn't load but it would be great if I could start with the same behavior and then move to a better one.

Hi,

In order to do that, press the "fi" button in the toolbar of the "Generate Font" tab in the IcoMoon app. You can then decide the word(s) you want to assign to each icon.
