Trying to upload a vector map of Canada, perhaps to complex? Thanks for your help.

That SVG is too complex, and I wouldn't recommend using it on web, either as SVG or font. You should probably try to simplify it and reduce its size. It is currently about 300KB, which is too large for a vector.
