Error 500

Hi,

I am getting 500 error message, I was running Atom 2.1.0 and I have downloaded 2.2.0 and put it in /var/www/atom then droped previous database and created new database but when i try to run installer i get the error, any idea what will be the cause of the problem.

Hi Lewatle,

AtoM 2.2 has a number of new dependencies, as well as new database tables and columns. A couple tips or things to double-check:

If you've done all the above and are still experiencing issues, then we'll need more information to be able to assist. Taking a look at the web server error logs is a great place to start. Whether you've chosen apache or nginx, we have suggestions on where they are typically found here:

You can also try using Debug mode, to see if Symfony can provide further information. See:

Hello,

I am getting the following message from  /var/log/apache2/error.log


[Mon Jul 27 11:28:31 2015] [error] [client 146.141.1.80] Unable to open PDO connection [wrapped: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)]

I have installed all the pre-requisites, created blank atom database as root user and opened http://localhost/atom for web installation 

I am using ubuntu 12.04
Apache2.2.22

Hi Lewatle,

It looks like you are encountering an error that some of our other users have reported in 2.2. For suggestions on how to resolve this, please see this thread:

We will be monitoring and reviewing this situation internally, as several users have now reported this issue to us. We may prepare a 2.2.1 release if needed. In the meantime, it appears that most users have managed to work around it with the suggestions in the thread above.

The error is resolved after I did deleted  the file in /var/www/atom-2.2.0/config/config.php

Glad to hear you managed to resolve the issue with the suggestions on the other thread, Lewatle! Thanks for the update.
