Hi All,
I want to do integration of Siteminder-WebSphere,anybody has any idea?

I have configured all the file as per documentation.

I am trying to integrate Siteminder 5.5 with WebSphere Portal Server 4.1.2,

We have got the following Configuration:

1) WebSphere Portal 4.1.2 on Solaris 8.
2) iPlanet Ldap 5.1
3) Siteminder 5.5

I am referring to a document

http://www7b.software.ibm.com/wsdd/zones/portal/V41InfoCenter/InfoCenter/wpf-ena/en/InfoCenter/wpf/conf_sit.html

But in the appserver-out.log error ,its giving me following error:

I believe the supported siteminder level is 4.6. That might be catching
you.

Thanks Scott..

Actually we are working on Integration of Siteminder 5.5 and WebSphere Portal 4.1.2 and we have got a very tight scheduled,

I want to know that are u sure that Siteminder 5.5 doesn't work with WebSphere Portal 4.1.2 ,if this is the case then we will start working with Siteminder 4.6.

Please let me know.

The portal infocenter for version 4.1.2 (in the "Access Control"
section) says "Siteminder 4.5.1 (or later)" but if the siteminder
version you're using hasn't been tested with 4.1.2 then it is unlikely
to be supported.

The major problem is not only the implementation but will be the scalibility
of siteminder. It does not scale well on Apache (IHS) due to the thread
model which is implemented. I would recommend using another http stack like
IIS domino or iPlanet.
