hi,

i receive "The page cannot be displayed" for http://testportal:10038/wps/myportal . while its displayed with http://testportal:10038/wps/portal but when i login with the correct user name and password i receive again "The page cannot be displayed". please note that the only change i did in the system is setting the host.name to a certain value in the ConfigServices.properties and then rolled back to the default(commented it).

any idea to solve the issue is appreciated.

please have a look to the SystemOut.log file. i am not sure if it leads to the cause of the error

hi Jim, i am not using the ds, but anyway i created it and the error in log disappeared. but still i am not able to access /wps/myportal. please see the new log

i don't know exactly why it throws this exception, i am not using the feedback database, anyway i will work to solve this exception. but there is strange behavior when i open the portal http://testportal:10038/wps/myportal in firefox it is showing the http://www.intranet.com:10038/wps/portal/!ut/p/c0/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3g_f6NQNxNPQ0MLM1dDAyMzDxMnnzBPA39_U_2CbEdFAMNst2E!/

its still seeing intranet the old value of host.name which is commented now

sounds like the value did not get updated, check the was admin console and verify there under resource providers, and then wp configservice
