I have accessed the wsadmin -conntype NONE and done a securityoff, but still same error.

I can't access the Websphere Console either as the service refuses to start:

Hi, It appears not to be happy with the settings you used. Please disable security and restart. I am attaching a JACL file that will be used to turn off security.

go to the /profiles/ /bin directory.

launch wsadmin.bat -conntype none -f /TurnOffSecurity.jacl

Regards, Brian

Code for those not using the forum on DW:

set security [$AdminConfig getid /Security:/]
set isEnabled [$AdminConfig showAttribute $security enabled]
if { $isEnabled == "true" } {
puts "\nTurning off WebSphere security"
$AdminConfig modify $security { { enabled false } }
puts "\nSaving configuration"
$AdminConfig save
} else {
puts "\nWebSphere security is already disabled"
}

Hi Brian

Thanks for your reply

I already disabled the security, but ran your code just in case, and it confirmed it :

"WebSphere security is already disabled"

Is there any other logs I can provide?

Hi, Please check your ffdc files in the /logs directory. There might be more information there if files are created during start up. Otherwise I am afraid that I cannot be of more help without reviewing the log files and you will need to open a PMR with IBM for that. Please post your ffdc findings.

Brian

Do you have any server1.pid files in the under logs/server1, If so
delete that file and they try starting the server

Thanks

Did you resolve this issue. I have just encountered the same. I can restore back to unsecure but I really need to know whats causing the issue as the env needs to be secure.
