Wierd error in WAS 5.0.2 (with security enabled)

I have successfully installed an application on WAS 5.0.2 (using ND 5.0.2), where security is installed (using a custom LDAP registry). When trying to access a servlet, i get the following message (included at the bottom of this post). The servlet tries to access the Adobe Forms server which is running on a different WAS 5.0.2 installation running on a different machine on the network. I do not think that it's is the Forms server application which is causing the error, but some security setting in WAS. i've tried installing the same applications on WAS 5.1, and it works fine.
Does anyone know what may be causing the error?
