The HyperDex team is pleased to announce the availability of HyperDex
0.4.0. This release adds significant new features and bug fixes:

- HyperDex now supports shutdown and restart a complete cluster
without data loss. (Many thanks to Pawel Loj).

- The high-performance HyperDex messaging layer has been revamped to
improve throughput by a factor of two for heavily-loaded clients.

- New Node.JS bindings (available for from-source builds).

- Manpages now are included with the release, and are automatically
installed.

- Various small bug fixes and improvements to the C, C++ and Python
bindings.

- Improved reliability through an extensive fuzz testing
infrastructure.

- Better semantics for math operations. Before, HyperDex adopted the
C/C++ semantics of the host system. Now the systems detects
underflow/overflow and provides predictable semantics. Does your
NoSQL store provide a full range of atomic arithmetic operations?
And if so, does it pay this much attention to accuracy?

You can download packages for Debian 6, Ubuntu 11.10, and Fedora 16 on
our Download page [1], as well as the full source.

Thanks,
The HyperDex Team
