I recently discovered a really cool open source service for identifying music. It's called Echoprint http://echoprint.me/ and I can't wait to build it into the Hyperaudio Pad so that any music tracks in media uploaded can be identified and added to the transcript ie ["Just Like Honey" by The Jesus and Mary Chain plays in the background]

Anyway I thought it was a cool service and wanted to share it with the group. I guess it's just another aspect of Hyperaudio.

You could use this to map in any pre-existing metadata, like lyrics.

Or the reverse - allow for timed annotations, and publish them as open
data mapping to the canonical song.
