Dear colleague,
We are pleased to announce the new <http://unicef.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=7088c711be3d9d4f8b0897886&id=86606333ec&e=3075cf4b05> WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP) 2017 Thematic Report: Safely Managed Drinking Water. The report considers the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) target for universal, equitable access to safely managed drinking water and outlines JMP plans for enhanced monitoring of drinking water in the SDG era. It also examines the availability of data on safely managed drinking water services.

New 'ladders' for monitoring drinking water services at home, at school and in health facilities are presented in the report, together with proposals for enhanced monitoring of inequalities and affordability of drinking water services. The WHO/UNICEF JMP 2017 Progress Update and SDG Baseline report will be published at the end of June.

Es un placer poder anunciar el nuevo Informe Temático 2017 del Programa Conjunto OMS/UNICEF de Monitoreo del Abastecimiento de Agua y del Saneamiento (PCM) respecto al Agua Manejado de Forma Segura. El informe toma en cuenta la meta de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) respecto al acceso universal y equitativo al agua, manejada de forma segura. El informe delinea los planes del JMP para un monitoreo mejorado para agua potable dentro del marco de los ODS. También examina la disponibilidad de datos respecto al tema de servicios de agua manejado de forma segura.

Nuevas “escaleras” para monitorear los servicios de agua potable en el hogar, en las escuelas y en puntos de atención sanitaria están siendo presentado en el informe, juntos con propuestas para un monitoreo mejorado de las desigualdades y de la asequibilidad de los servicios de agua potable. El Informe de Progreso y de la Línea de Base 2017 del PCM serán publicado hasta finales de junio.

Le Programme Conjoint de Suivi de l'Approvisionnement en Eau et de l'Assainissement de l'OMS/UNICEF est chargé de suivre les progrès accomplis dans le monde pour atteindre les cibles des ODD relatives à l'eau potable, l'assainissement et l’hygiène (EAH).
