Final report on interagency meeting on social mobilisation for Ebola

Dear All,

I am attaching the report from  an interagency meeting on social mobilisation that Oxfam recently organised - as this may be of interest to the HP group. Apologies for any cross posting.

Whilst we did not have enough time to discuss the overlap with hygiene promotion during the meeting the issue came up in some of the discussions. 

An attempt has been made to rework the HP model that was developed by the WASH Cluster HP working group and this draft can be found in the appendix of the report.

Any comments and/or questions are welcomed.

Thanks for this Suzanne,

Evidence base is of course essential and it would be good to gain as much, especially if available from the Ebola response.

We have tried to re develop the HP toolkit with a specific focus upon community mobilisation and the needs of the MENA region/Syrian emergency with an intention of providing an easy to use CM focussed toolkit, primarilly focussed upon HP, but also linking to other sectors; health, psycho social, advocacy, education, health, working with children etc.

Pierre should be able to provide more details of accessibility.
