Dear colleagues / Chers collègues (version en français ci-dessous),
Greetings from the RWSN online communities on Leave No One Behind (LNOB) and Sustainable Services! This Monday 19 February, we shall launch an online discussion in LNOB group on Social Accountability. This discussion will last for three weeks closing on Friday 9 March. At the end of each week, you will receive a short summary of the main discussion points. The discussion and weekly summaries will form the basis of a synthesis report.
For the discussion, we will use the RWSN “Leave No One Behind” (DGroups) list (email: equ...@dgroups.org) as our online discussion tool. You will receive the questions and replies directly in your email inbox if you are a member of that group. You can join the group here (contact meleesa....@skat.ch if you have issues joining). For more details on the e-discussion, please see the attached concept note.
How to participate:
We will start sending the questions on Monday 19 February and you can start responding immediately after!
To respond to the questions and to participate in the discussion, please send a “reply” on the last posting you received. This will lead to a “thread” whereby the entire discussion is included in the lower part of each new post, making it easy to follow. Note that when you reply to a message, EVERYONE in the group will receive your response. That is what we aim at in this e-discussion. We, however, realize that some of the issues raised in this discussion can be very delicate. If you would like to share your insights, but are not comfortable with this being attributed to your name, you can also send an email directly to the thematic facilitator, sara....@simavi.nl . She will assist to make your submission in confidence.
If you feel that you want to reply only to one person (for example, author of the post), scroll down to the end of the original message and click “reply to sender”. The message will be sent only to the author of the post. Attached this email you will find an e-discussion Netiquette document, which will give you some tips for good and productive e-mail discussions.
Note that some members of the group have chosen to receive weekly email updates. During the e-discussion we encourage those interested in participating to adjust their email preference to Immediate. If you do not want to receive mails on a daily basis, but want to remain in the group, please reset your mail preference to weekly. These can both be done in My account -> Preferences on the top right when you log into your account at https://dgroups.org/rwsn/equality_rwsn . If you do not want to take part in this discussion but have received this email you can unsubscribe by following the instructions at the end of the email.
This discussion will take place in English and French, meaning that participants can post their replies in the language of their choice. The questions and weekly summaries will be posted in English.

Bienvenue au sein de notre cybercommunauté RWSN sur N’exclure personne et Services Durables! Lundi 19 février nous lancerons une e-discussion dans le groupe N’exclure personne sur la redevabilité sociale. Cette discussion s’étalera sur trois semaines et se terminera vendredi 9 mars. À la fin de chaque semaine vous recevrez un bref résumé des principaux sujets abordés. Un rapport de synthèse sera rédigé pour conclure, sur la base du contenu des discussions et des résumés hebdomadaires.
Pour échanger en ligne, nous utiliserons la liste du groupe (Dgroup) RWSN sur N’exclure personne (email : equ...@dgroups.org ). Vous recevrez les questions et les réponses directement dans votre messagerie si vous êtes membre du groupe. Vous pouvez rejoindre ce groupe ici (veuillez contacter meleesa....@skat.ch pour toute difficulté). Pour plus d’informations sur la discussion, veuillez vous référer à la note ci-joint.
Comment participer:
Nous enverrons les questions sur la liste à partir du lundi 19 février, et vous pourrez commencer à envoyer vos réponses dans la foulée!
Pour répondre aux questions et participer pendant la discussion, merci de cliquer sur “Répondre” (Reply) dans le dernier message que vous avez reçu. Vous serez redirigé(e) vers le fil de discussion qui reprend l'ensemble des échanges sous chaque nouveau billet et qui permet de suivre toute la conversation aisément. Notez que lorsque vous répondez à un message, TOUT LE MONDE dans le groupe reçoit votre réponse. C’est le but justement de ces conversations en ligne.
Si vous ne souhaitez répondre qu'à une seule personne en particulier (l'auteur du dernier billet par exemple) allez jusqu'à la fin du message original et cliquez sur “Répondre à l’émetteur” (Reply to sender). Votre réponse ne sera envoyée qu'à l'auteur du billet en question. Vous avez ici en pièce jointe un document sur la nétiquette des discussions en ligne; à destination des usagers débutants comme aguerris, il compile d’autres conseils pour avoir des e-discussions fructueuses et dynamiques.
Certains membres du groupe ont choisi de recevoir des mises à jour hebdomadaires. Pendant la durée de l’e-discussion, vous êtes vivement encouragés à reprogrammer vos préférences de messagerie sur «immédiat». Si vous ne voulez pas recevoir de courriels quotidiens mais souhaitez tout de même faire partie du groupe, changer vos préférences messagerie en « hebdomadaire ». Pour ce faire, cliquez sur Mon compte → Préférences (My account → Preferences) dans le coin en haut à droite lorsque vous vous connectez sur https://dgroups.org/rwsn/equality_rwsn. Si vous ne souhaitez pas participer à cette discussion en ligne mais que vous avez reçu ce courriel, vous pouvez vous désinscrire en suivant les instructions détaillées au bas du message.
Cette discussion sera menée en anglais et en français, c’est-à-dire que les participants peuvent contribuer dans la langue de leur choix. Les questions et les résumés hebdomadaires seront mis en ligne en anglais.
