Hey,

I have been using Hugin for about 6 months now and it's doing great for me, however yesterday when I tried to use it, it did not allow me to use the 'Simple' interface and I have no idea why. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the newest version but it gives me the same problem. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

Thanks

You can try to remove the configure files+directories, but how to do that will depend on which platform you are on, which you didn't mention. It is usually on your personal directory.

Thanks for the advice! I am using Windows 7, does this change anything about your answer?

Nops, maybe it can help someone to be give a more precise answer. I don't know exactly what is the hugin configure folder on Windows, but it is surely somewhere on your user folder.

Hello Jakob,

Did you try the "Load default" button at the bottom of the preferences?

I have been hunting for the preferences file in Windows and I found here sourceforge.net/docs/manual/Hugin_FAQ.html that the preferences in Windows are stored in the Registry. So the easiest and most secre way for resetting them is to use the "Load default" button.

I know why. You have disabled the fast preview intentionally. There was a message box, you disabled the fast preview window and said "don't ask again".

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the newest version but it gives me the same problem. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

No need to fiddling with the preferences file or registry. Start Hugin with pressed control key and activate the fast preview window again.
