Control Home Appliances from Hue App and Bridge 2.0

Hi to all, I'm brand new to Philips Hue.

Got a starter kit with the Bridge 2.0 and two White Lamps and everything works fine as well.

I'm wondering if exists some "adapter" that can control my "home appliances", just switching on or off my stuff from remote, using the official hue app.

I found the 69165/31/PH adapter on the Italian Official Philips website (since I'm Italian) but it's not clear if you can use it with home appliances or not and also, is not easy to find it on any websistes (also on amazon is not avalaible).

Any chance to control my home appliances from remote, using the Philips bridge?

Sign in to My Hue from within the Hue app. It will allow you to control the lights when you are not at home, assuming the bridge is on and connected to the Internet.

Well, the fact is I want to control "other appliances" also.

Not only the lights!!

Is there any chanche to do this?

Hey Paolo,

I'm wondering if you had any success getting some appliances working with the HUE app.

I would also like to do this with something that will turn my coffee machine on early in the morning and turn it of after 9am or something like this.

I have seen Wemo and Belkin make wifi adaptors to plug appliances in with but I'm not sure if they work with in the HUE app.
